Crucible keeps the minimum needed to work. Here is what we keep and why.
Your account
You sign in with Google. We store your email, your name and the profile picture Google shares, and an identifier for your Google account. We never receive your Google password.
Your analyses
We store what you write or upload (text and images), the panel configuration and the answers of the models so you can see them in your history. Only you can see them and you can delete them at any time: images are deleted too.
AI models
To run an analysis we send your text (and the description of your image) to the models you chose through OpenRouter, which forwards them to each provider. Free models may log requests under their own policies. Do not send secrets or other people’s personal data.
Your OpenRouter account
If you connect it, we store the key OpenRouter gives us encrypted, use it only for your analyses, and you can disconnect it in Settings. We record the cost of each analysis to apply the spend limits you set.
IP addresses
They are used to limit abuse. We turn them into a salted code and do not store them in the clear.
Cookies and storage
A session cookie (needed to sign in), a short-lived cookie during sign-in and a language preference in local storage. We use no advertising cookies.
Third parties
Cloudflare hosts the application and provides the Turnstile anti-spam check. Google handles sign-in and serves the typefaces. OpenRouter and the model providers process your texts. Each processes data under its own policy.
Retention and deletion
We keep your analyses until you delete them. To delete your account or ask anything else, write to us.
